  • 2 cloves garlic minced

  • 2 teaspoons garam masala

  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric

  • 3/4 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450

  2. In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken to the hot skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden, about 5 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Toss in onions and cook until tender, about 4 minutes (should get a little brown). Stir in the tomato paste, ginger, garlic, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, paprika, cumin, and cayenne pepper and stir until well combined. Stir in the diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil; reduce the heat and simmer, until the sauce is slightly thickened (stir occasionally). Should be about 12 minutes

  4. Set aside about a cup of sauce.

  5. Once it's thickened, stir in the cream and lemon juice. Add the chicken into the pan and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.

  6. Roll out the dough and spread cup of sauce over top. Then put cheese and chicken on top.

  7. Garnish with cilantro.

  8. Cook in the over for 10 minutes or until crust is crisp and cooked thoroughly.

  9. Serve and enjoy!
